This 12 Years Old Needs Your Urgent Support In Fighting Leukemia

Hi,
I’m trying to raise funds for my 12 year old darling niece, Charvi who has been suffering from Leukemia from March 2018.
My niece was admitted to St Johns hospital in Bangalore India. She braved the first round of chemo that lasted almost 9 months. She responded well to her treatment and went into remission fairly quickly. She started going back to school (Baldwin’s Co-ed School) after almost a year. Normalcy seemed to return to the household. My sister, a single parent, (she lost her husband a few months after my niece was diagnosed with Cancer) relieved of her daughter's recovery started going back to photography, her main source of income. Doctors had started the maintenance chemo program; but.. things did not go as planned.

Within 3 weeks, sharp pain in her knees led to the diagnosis of a relapse and this time with a vengeance. Multiple lesions were found in the knee. An MRI and bone marrow test revealed that her situation had deteriorated.

The lil' one again had to go through the torture of stronger chemo therapy sessions at St Johns hospital. Doctors suggested a bone marrow transplant, but they didn’t give big hopes on her survival.

To do everything that is possible, we also started Resonant Frequency Therapy & Immunotherapy by an integrated medicine practitioner. These approaches gave some comfort and improvement.

After a few months, Doctors at St.Johns discouraged us when we said we would like to go ahead with the Intensive Chemo and Bone Marrow Transplant. They told us it’s very risky to let her go thro’ this as she’ll be susceptible to life threatening infections. We were not happy with what they told us and we approached a Pediatric Oncologist at Sri Shankara Cancer Institute and the Doctor strongly suggested we get her admitted immediately at CMC Vellore as the Oncology team at CMC is very well experienced and efficient to handle such cases. Now she is getting better as their treatment methods (at CMC) are totally different from St.Johns. My sister’s Bone Marrow has matched with hers and thankfully the bone marrow expenses will be coming down than initially expected.

We’ve already spent about 20 lakhs for the treatment so far (from savings, insurance, funds raised from family and friends), but we need more funds to go ahead with the treatment as our savings and insurance has already exhausted.

In the next 3 months, we need another 25 Lakhs for Bone Marrow Transplantation and Chemotherapy.

Please come forward to support my cause. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.

First of all - a very big thank you for all the love and well wishes that are pouring in for my lil' baby! When we see a community coming together for a noble cause, it shows that humanity still exists. You all have jointly raised a significant sum towards her treatment and it took each and every one of you to get here.

My sister is in no capacity to directly express her gratitude, but her silence in accepting the support means a lot. She is someone that strives to be independent and self-sufficient. Thank you all very much for raising her hopes to not worry about costs and focus more on doing what is best for the kid. This is timely and needed for the near term treatments that have started, but there is more that we need to do, to help Charvi realize all her dreams & aspirations.

Her second round of Chemo has started now and she is still down with pain in her legs and arms. This session will go on for 28 days straight in the hospital. We're all looking forward to see some positive results this time so that the doctors can go ahead with the Bone Marrow Transplant, as planned.

Please do pray for my baby and support my cause by sharing the link with your near and dear ones.
