When the news of 27-year old Chandana Venugopal's demise reached everyone's ears, it was a sort of a numbing shock. Part of the TCS family, working as an eLearning Developer, she was one of the rising stars. Skilled at her job, she was recognised and appreciated by all client stakeholders. To her teammates, her smile was her USP. She was an ever-eager learner and extremely supportive towards helping her colleagues or anyone in need around her.
Chandana, a resident of Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), will be forever remembered for her kind-hearted nature and for having a mellifluous voice. Not only was she a talented singer, but also had an artistic bent of mind that made her skilled in drawing 'alpanas'. This gifted girl was taken too soon and one can only find solace in thinking that she did not suffer much before succumbing to the disease.
Her COVID results reached her family on the second day after she left them for the heavenly abode. That is unfortunately the only 'positive' thing right now in her parents' and her two younger sisters' lives. Her mother and father will never be able to fill her void. Her sisters, Yojana and Bindu, will miss the love and mentoring they deserved from their elder sister.
While we cannot make up for Chandana's loss, we can definitely extend support in our own small way to her family. We request everyone to come forward and contribute through the Milaap platform.
Your contributions will ensure that the financial gap, that is being created from the loss of a key earning member of the family, will be reduced to a little extent.
It will be a huge support for a father who has been limited by his own heart condition in fully leading from the front. Please do act on this plea for help. Also, kindly cascade this campaign to all in your network to ensure a stupendous response in this small endeavor to support a family reeling from such great loss.
