Shashikanth Reddy, age 27, is from a poor background who lost his father at a younger age and is survived by his mother and 3 brothers including him.  He discontinued his graduation due to family pressures and lack of financial support, and was doing some odd jobs to support his family along with his 2 elder brothers.  Due to his discontinued graduation status and continuing to do odd jobs, he tried applying with several firms and finally got an opportunity as a supervisor in a construction company and was about to join in Oct 2019, however, he lost this opportunity as well due to his accident in Oct 2019.

His elder brother is married and is a car driver, however, lost his job due to COVID-19 scenario. His second brother has his own buinsess who supplies water cans in his locality and nearby residential areas, however, his business is down due to COVID-19 scenario.  Currenlty, his mother is working as a tailor to support their family.

He lives in Motinagar in his own house with his family but has mortgaged the same house to take care of his accidental expenditures post this incident and his family is going through tough times to bring him back to full life.  He has gone through series of operations post this accident and is able to move his neck and talk right now, however, the rest of the body is paralyzed due to his major accident.
