According to the National Cancer Registry Programme, 1 in 9 Indians develop cancer during their lifetime. Even if cancer is identified at an early stage, 50% of patients stop visiting hospitals after two or three cycles of chemotherapy due to the high cost of treatment.

Teens for Cancer Patients is an international youth-led organization dedicated to battling cancer. Since launching in September 2021, TCP has served over 400 persons in 9 countries with 10+ chapters, has hosted a successful event “Impact of COVID-19 On Cancer prevention” with over 90+ attendees, and has fund raised over 1 lakh rupees for financially sensitive patients.

TCP has partnered up with Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Center *, headed by the Padma-Shri (award presented by the President of India) receiver Dr. Ravi Kannan to fundraise for patients who cannot afford treatment. Cachar provides free-of-cost surgery to anyone in financial need. All funds shall proceed to Cachar.

TCP has also linked up with the Iksha Foundation, which has sponsored health kits for 120+ children with eye cancer.

Donations to TCP include sanitary pads to orphanages, chemotherapy treatment of poverty stricken patients, food for cancer affected children, health kits to our patients in need and also towards cancer research.

Please help us raise funds for cancer treatment of patients in financially sensitive regions. With every 10,000 rupees, we can cover the cost of one chemotherapy cycle for a patient.

*Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre is a non-profit organization located in Assam that caters to the needs of patients suffering from cancer. The hospital is pro-poor and provides world-class cancer care to its patients, who all hail from very poverty-stricken regions of Assam, Meghalaya, and other neighboring states. The hospital runs purely on donations and is always in dire need of financial support. The hospital treats more than 24,000 patients every year, and its Director, Dr. Ravi Kannan was recently awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for his service, after having performed 70,000 surgeries, free of cost.

TCPxEAST is a subset of the NGO Teens for Cancer Patients.

Please lend us your hand with your donations, help and support. It would motivate us to reach our goal and help cancer victims fight their battles against cancer.
