Currently out of 1.4 lakh new cancer patients detected every year in Bihar, just 30,000 are able to get the necessary treatment in Bihar, owing to the limited number of cancer hospitals here. In North Bihar (comprising 22 districts) there is currently no government cancer care hospital.
Almost 60-70% of cases are of advanced-stage cancers and require good palliative care services for a pain-free, peaceful, and dignified death. Unfortunately, that is also not possible due to lack of infrastructure, trained manpower, an overburdened healthcare system, and extreme poverty (particularly in the North Bihar region due to frequent floods & chronic neglect of this region).
This hospital would be a great asset to the region of North Bihar. However, it will take 2 years to complete. We do not want to wait till the construction is complete, and we intend to get a modular 100 bedded hospital started by early 2021.
We have received a donation of 100 beds ready-to-use modular hospital developed by IIT Chennai and we want to install it at the 15 acre land inside the Shri Krishna medical college, Muzaffarpur campus.
We now need funds and assistance to prepare, level and install this 100 bedded unit and start the hospital as early as possible.
The funds required for this and will be used towards Transportation of this Hospital from Chennai to Muzaffarpur, For Ground preparation, leveling, and for installation and other uses
I seek your help in this matter. Please help and contribute with a financial donation to our organization. Your assistance will help us reach our goal faster, and accelerate the setup of the hospital within the next 2 months.
My sincere request is to also share this with your family, friends, and associates who will be able to contribute to our cause.
