In a world full of disconnect, disengagement, and distrust among individuals and communities, The Blue Ribbon Movement is on a path to create youth leaders for a better world. I have been a volunteer at the BRM Movement Circle since 2013 when I started with the 1st batch of their flagship program, Community Connect Fellowship.
With the idea to create active citizenship among the youth of the society, the movement has traveled a long way with currently running multiple big and small initiatives with 100% consent (Sarvanumati).
The Movement Circle is a group of young individuals who have been through a journey of self-discovery and change in BRM and understand the value of the movement. They contribute by anchoring various initiatives of BRM and making it truly an alumni-led initiative. BRM Movement Circle believes in the idea of people funded (Jan-adharit) movement where the citizens themselves contribute to the movement which they feel has the potential to bring change.
