    This fundraiser will benefit

    blind dogs at CUPA

    from Bengaluru, Karnataka

Our interest in animal welfare compelled us to collaborate and support animals in any way possible. We, Rithu Vijayabaskar, Richa Iyer, Aishini Kulkarni, Shaurya Singh and Shaurya Rajput are the creators of this fundraiser and we have come from different parts of India, to fund for this cause.
During these difficult times, just as humans face challenges, stray animals face the brutal truth of surviving without any food or safety from the lockdown restrictions. With their usual food sources cut off, dogs, cats and cows are struggling to survive. That is why we, high-school students from across India are playing our part in showing these animals support, kindness and aid during the Coronavirus.
CUPA situated in Bengaluru(Non profit organisation), is one of the oldest animal organisations serving small and large animals since 1991, now runs five independent centres, each of the facilities addresses a critical aspect of animal welfare . Their mission is to help the injured, the exploited, the handicapped and the starved and bring about respect and balance in the human-animal relationship.
CUPA Geriatric centre, a chain free retirement home for old dogs has rescued 14 blind old dogs that are all ready for passive adoption(aiding their upkeep, while they stay at the retirement home) and are looking passive parents to adopt them . These voiceless creatures have been rescued from the streets, natural calamities, abandoned by owners, dumped by backyard breeders, since they are now unable to fend and feed for themsleves . Show your love and support by passively adopting these old blind seniors and aid the old dogs upkeep and health care.Show your support to animals during these tough times and don't give up the opportunity to do something good for the community.
