Amma Anadha Sharanalayam (Amma Orphan Home) is a Non-Profitable Organization founded by Mr.Teja in the year 2010. The organization locates at Kothagudem, Telangana.  The main vision of our organization is to furnish better life to the Orphan children who lost parents. At present  we are providing shelter for  40 children aged between 5-18 yrs.

Along with above we are providing shelter for old-age people who left in vulnerable position and not caring by their children.

We have grown exceptionally from past few years in terms for providing healthier life style to both kids and old-age people.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

The Organization started serving 1 children in 2010. Today it serves around 50 people.

The current home is not sufficient to all kids and old-age people. As orphan home are growing with new kids and old-age people, so we need to have separate shelter for both boys, girls and old-age people.

We do not have kitchen and dinning hall. Due to this we are facing so many hurdles in rainy season for food preparation. So we would like to build a new shelter for kids and old-age people.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE NEW PROJECT:

1)  Build the infrastructure ( Shelter home, Dining hall, Kitchen and  Water Plant etc.) that will increase the capacity to provide child services.

2) Encourage and involve the community so that they become active supporters and financial contributors, hence ensuring the sustainability for the project.

3) We have training the kids through counselling, sending them to school. They range between pre-school  to 10th standard. At present we are taking care of 40 kids.

4) Basically, we want to provide holistic support for the children in our care. This will include vocational skills training, support to children still at school, and an improvement in the living conditions in the orphanage.
