Story

Hi, My name is George Chacko, From Chengannur, Kerala and I am doing this fundraiser program for Mr.Binu Philip who is an enthusiastic farmer by profession from Pothukallu, Mukkam, Wayanad.

I got to see a video about Mr.Binu's plight and deeply felt saddened by the situation that he is going through. I have contacted him and I have decided to help him. An ardent farmer by profession who loves his soil and he is now in a situation today where his entire life savings have been washed in a days flash flood and landslide happened through his farm on the night of 8th Aug 2019.

His farm is estimated to have a loss of several lakhs, but importantly it’s many years of work had got washed in a few minutes. Farming is never an easy job and it’s a lifeline for all of us to have a responsible farmer like Binu and his Father Mr.Thampi to get back to the track. They are our food producers.

Through this program, I would like Binu and his family to get back to his profession and continue his farming ventures. I am running this campaign through the help of Milaap a crowdfunding and fundraising company who channelize the funds to the beneficiary.

I like to humbly request all good people to help for a good cause and help directly to him through this fundraiser program. You could contribute as per your wish and there is no limit for this help. This is called humanity.

You can check the below link to see how he was devastated by the calamity.
