Bindu consulted her doctor when she was experiencing pain in her abdomen. The doctor immediately referred for an ultrasound PET/CT scan followed by Biopsy. The results came back the next day and were not looking good - they had detected a large mass in her pelvic area.
At this stage, there was no way of telling whether this was serious or not but obviously she began to fear the worst. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a rare form of STAGE 3C ovarian cancer and now facing a serious battle to try and overcome this disease.
Ovarian Cancer is often referred to as the 'Silent Killer’ as it creeps up on you without you having any discernible symptoms. The recommendation is surgical removal due to its size, solid components, and ongoing and escalating symptoms that are in line with ovarian cancer.
Few more cycles of chemotherapy are being planned post-surgery.
Bindu's new mission is to educate everybody about avoiding her mistakes and to make sure you’re one step ahead of ovarian or any type of cancer.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading this page. I did my best to keep it short. There are not enough words to describe the gratitude we feel for everyone who has expressed love, concern, and kindness towards her.
Please share this with friends, family, and coworkers. We appreciate anything that you donate to help Bindu through her challenging journey,
but if nothing else please share and educate others from her experience.
She is currently admitted and receiving Chemotherapy in Fortis Hospitals, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Until now, we've spent about Rs. 500000. We've arranged the amount from savings & loans. In the next 30 days, we need Rs.1,000,000.00 more for further treatment. Please come forward to support my cause.
