    This fundraiser will benefit

    Bhura

    from New Delhi, Delhi

UPDATE:

Bhura has run away from Friendicoes on December 31 2021. We are putting everything on hold till he is found.

---

There is no chance of saving Bhura's foot. As the images show, it is beyond saving because the footpad has been eaten. They fear it will lead to infection and threaten his life, so we are taking the difficult decision to amputate. If not, the scarring will remain forever and his bones will have to be trimmed everytime they grow further, which means never-ending uncertainty and pain.

The doctor told us... better save his life than a foot. So, that is what we will aim to do.

This fundraiser will now focus on raising money for Bhura's surgery and post operative medical care.

This fundraiser is for Bhura.

Bhura is a street dog who was hit by a car, resulting in a leg fracture. By the time the fracture could heal and cast taken off, someone removed his collar and he chewed off his cast.

The result was a badly wounded foot. His wound is so deep that out of the three doctors who saw him, two want the leg to be amputated. Only, one doctor, just one said 'give him 15 days' to heal. Yes, it might be the easy way. Yes, the street dog will survive on three legs. But we want to give Bhura a chance.

This fundraiser is for giving Bhura a chance
. We don't know if his foot will heal or not but we want to give him that chance. This fundraiser is to get Bhura off the streets in a medical boarding, where he will be given the care, nutrition and medicines to help him.

Just because Bhura has no family, should not mean he does not get a chance. Please give Bhura a chance.  Make the new year a happier year for him!

When you read this message, think for a moment what a chance it would be, if his foot would heal and he is not a three legged dog, destined to fend for himself.
