The patient still in ICU. Not in a situation to get the account balance from them.

I am Bhagavath Sekhar aged 41 years, working as a cobbler in a footwear shop at Vanross Junction, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. I am suffering from liver-related disease and while taking treatment at Medical College Hospital, Trivandrum, the doctors suggested that liver transplantation is the only way out. KIMS, which is the only hospital in Thiruvananthapuram where liver transplantation is being done, has estimated ₹28 lacs for the procedure, pre-procedural tests and immediate post-operative care.

I am the only earning member of my family consisting of my wife and two children aged 11 and 1.5 years. My wife is a kidney patient and my elder son is handicapped. I am presently staying at a rented house in Maruthankuzhy and applied for the housing scheme of the Government.

Nowadays my daily needs for food and medicines are taken care of by my relatives, friends and well-wishers.  Last week I have undergone the preliminary tests prior to the operation at KIMS with the help of my well-wishers. The doctors suggested that the surgery is to be carried out on an emergency basis.

We have already registered in 'Mrithasanjeevani', the scheme launched by the Government of Kerala, forgetting the matching organ. We are preparing representations to both state and central governments, charitable societies, etc.

I further humbly request you all to extend financial help to me in whatever small amount it may be. You may also forward this message to the well-wishers known to you. I once again humbly request you to help me in whatever way possible.

Thank you 🙏
Bhagavat Sekher
