We are living in uncertain times. The panic and destruction caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the last 2 months has been unprecedented in human history in terms of its speed and scale of deaths. Despite having the best health facilities, all  countries are struggling to contain this deadly virus and the count of infected people is increasing exponentially each day. This has raised a spectre of a horrifying future for the rest of the world, especially Africa and Asian countries including India, who lack even basic healthcare services for most of their populations.

Belghoria Prativa Foundation is a registered NGO founded in 2015-16  under WB Societies Registration Act, 1961. The purpose and aim of the Ngo is to reach children and communities marginalized and lower in the rank of development. The NGO is based at Kolkata , West Bengal , India. The foundation is the training partner with Govt. of West Bengal  in skill development and has established vast network with schools and communities in the districts of the state.

The team of Belghoria Prativa Foundation is fighting for providing bare necessities to the underprivileged people at our NGO Patner’s ashram ( Sree ramkrishna sarada Sevashram) in Gobordanga in form of foodgrains , medicines and sanitizers . Our orphanage and Old Age Home had already received donations in form of ration ( rice, atta , oil ) from the admin. Deptt. Of West Bengal Government . NCC cadets has helped us to purchased daily necessities during the lockdown period . ITC Ltd. has generously donated their products to the vulnerable at Old Age Home. Few of our individuals donner has helped us to ensure supply of necessities to the deprived section of the society.  This is still the tip of an iceberg and we have to pave a long way to ensure the supply flow remain uninterrupted.

Belghoria  Prativa  Foundation  appeals to all its supporters world-wide to come forward and help provide services to the most vulnerable of the population who have no means to fight the global pandemic, COVID-19. Marginalized communities, especially engaged in informal economy, all across Kolkata are most vulnerable now, feeling the burnt of lock-down leading to lost wages/jobs, eviction from rented homes, no money to buy essentials, lack of medical assistance, all pointing to a grim future for them.
