Story

Hi guys,
This is for our Bardhan Sir. He has stage four pancreatic cancer and we need to do this for this.

Below is the msg from his son -

I am Arya Roy Bardhan, an ex student of La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata (batch of 2018). My father, Surojit Roy Bardhan has been recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. He is the proprietor of ‘Bardhan Sir’s Institute’, and as many would know, a man of exceptional largesse, predisposed to expect nominal fees on a monthly basis.

Ever since the lockdown was imposed, we have had no income, since my father is the breadwinner in our family. In light of our present circumstances, our ability to generate income has been entirely limited, since I do not expect my father to resume working any time soon.

The medical cost for mitigating terminal cancer is almost unbearable for a family with no current income. I will dispatch the discharge summary, for any of you inquiring into the matter.

As far as the financial situation is concerned, these are the primary markers:
•We have already incurred surgical expenses of over 9 lakh rupees, within the past couple of weeks.
•Presently, the daily expenses are amounting to 1-2k, with a monthly total of 70-80k, at least for the ensuing 6 to 8 months.
•We have no income till I complete my higher education (earliest being 2023).
•Another surgery is expected to occur within 2 to 3 months from now, costing about 3 lakh rupees.
•Monthly chemo expenses, beginning from the month of June, will add to the pre-existing financial burden.

In light of these harrowing circumstances, I humbly request you to contribute whatever little you can. Any help is welcome, and I will remain indebted to you for your kindness.
