7-month-old baby boy, son of Bhanu Praksh was diagnosed with a Biliary atresia (Bilirubin liver disease) from the day he was born.
Since then he has been under going medical treatment till date. As doctor suggested, performed a KASAI portoenterostomy (operation) for biliary atresia at age of 3rd month dated on 17th Sep 2018.
Even after the KASAI portoenterostomy, the baby boy every once or twice in a week suffering with recurrent cholangitis i.e Fever, yellowing of the skin and eyes, Clay-colored stools, dark urine and low blood pressure.
So far parents spent 12+ Lakhs (beyond their financial status) for the medical treatment. At Final now Doctor suggested that liver transplant is the only cure to save him and the donor will be either Father or Mother.
The cost of the liver transplant is around Rs.19 lakh and post hospitalization (keep baby 2-4 weeks in observation at hospital) costs Rs.2+ lakh more. In order for baby boy to recover from his condition, he would need to undergo the treatment at the earliest.
With nobody ready to lend a helping hand, this family is afraid they will lose it all. Every parent is protective about their child. They have spent everything they had on his diagnosis and treatment. Now, without much in their wallets, parents are pleasing everyone to help.
