Miss Aurthy Chakma, a third year student of Pali Department of Chittagong University (2016-2017). The youngest daughter of Bimal Kanti Chakma and Smriti Khana Chakma, a resident of K.K. Ray Road. Due to long periods of fever, stomach and tummy pains and diarrhea problem would have arisen. Tumor is found in the stomach at the Dhaka Popular Diagnostic Center. Later, her colon cancer was detected in a hospital in Chittagong. After being diagnosed she was taken to Chennai's Apollo Hospital in Chennai, India on May 17 instead of being treated in the country. There she was diagnosed with the same disease. Currently Aurthy is undergoing treatment at Apollo Cancer Hospital. The first dose of his chemotherapy has already ended. According to the doctor's advice, she will have to take dose two in a month till six month period. For every dose of chemo, the cost is 150,000 Indian Rupees. This excludes the cost of the examination. Doctors have been optimistic that if the entire dose of chemo can be given, then she will definitely healthy. However total cost will be more than 5 millions Indian Rupees needs for completed treatment. Already 8-10 lakhs of rupees have been spent in treatment which includes local and abroad. But it is not possible for her family to bear the cost of such expensive treatment.
So we are hopeful that you will stand and come forward to help to Miss Aurthy Chakma. We believe that if all of us try collectively, that Miss Aurthy will able to return to her normal life with good healthand. Aurthy is our sister and member of Humanity. Saving Aurthy is our and your moral duty. We do not wish to lose a talented person at such young age. How much money do we waste in daily life, At least that money we use to help her to give new opportunity that she able to look ahead for her future life.
