Atul Sharma - The name used to light up faces in the team at RWS India, formerly Webdunia. No more so. Covid has snatched the ticklish, witty, smiling face away. For about 15 years, his knowledge and reading about varied subjects kept him busy helping a lot of young talent of the translation industry, with unending enthusiasm. And in the midst of it all, he never shied away from new learning.
The never say no attitude meant he remained the go-to person for everyone. But this will not be the same now on. Atulji has taken a higher seat, and will not be available to these youngsters or his managers. All the same for his family. His young, school-going kids have not come to terms with this loss yet, and uncertainties of life stare into their faces. While we cannot fill the void of their lives, we can certainly make sure they have the financial assistance needed. गोल चेहरे पर हमेशा एक स्मित मुस्कान लिए अतुल जी को भला कौन भूल सकता है। वेबदुनिया में लगभग 15 सालों तक सहयोगी रहे लेकिन एक भी दिन ऐसा न हुआ जब उन्हें किसी ने गुस्से में देखा हो। टीम लीड होने के नाते दिन भर टीम के सवालों से घिरे होते, लेकिन शांत चित्त रहकर उनकी जिज्ञासाएँ भी दूर करते और अपना खुद का काम भी करते। कभी किसी काम को ना न कहा, भले ही कितनी ही देर तक रुककर उन्हें वह काम पूरा करना पड़े। हर काम में हमेशा अपनी पूरी ताकत झोंकते।

कोरोना ने असमय अतुलजी को छीन लिया। उनके परिवार के लिए उनके जाने का गम निश्चित ही असहनीय है। उनकी कमी तो पूरी नहीं की जा सकती...बस इतनी ही प्रार्थना कर सकते हैं कि ईश्वर उन्हें इस दुख से उबरने की शक्ति दे। 

हो सकता है हमारा छोटा-सा सहयोग उनके परिवार के लिए कुछ चुनौतियाँ थोड़ी आसान कर दे।
