I am writing to ask for your kind help to save my friend's life.
My friend, Athira Simon was diagnosed as myelodysplastic syndrome progression to acute myeloid leukemia. This is type of blood cancer. The ideal treatment is to undergo an allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation with an HLA donor.They have already found a matching donor and the estimated cost is around 35 lakhs inr(70000 aud).
I am studying in Australia and am trying to seek possible international help, which seems to be an opportunity for my friend. Her economic situation is poor and cannot afford medical expenses. So any help or information about charitable medical organizations and possible financial support will be highly appreciated.
