Hello, my name is Ateeq Ahmed and I'm from Mysore, Karnataka. I'm a pharmacy graduate and the only son to my parents. My father is a retired man and my mother is a housewife. 6 months back when I was on work, I got a call that my father is unconscious. I took him to the hospital and found that his Cholesterol and BP were way too high. Later we saw some changes on the left side of his face. And gradually he lost movement in his left arm and left limb. Doctors suggested us to consult a neurologist.

After a few checkups, we found that my father has a blood clot on the right side of his brain. And also his ECG report showed that he has Ischaemic heart disease. Since then my father is bedridden and needs continuous care. And I ended up quitting my job to save my Dad...

Doctors suggested surgery, but we couldn't afford it. Hence they prescribed medications and discharged him. His heartbeat has reduced to just 40% of the normal rate. Doctors told us that the can be saved with continuous medications and physiotherapy. And the treatment is costing us around 2.5 lakhs per annum.

Initially, our friends and relatives helped us a lot, but now it has become very difficult for us to bear his treatment expenses. Brothers and sisters, I request you to help me save my Dad with whatever you can. Every penny from you would be a blessing upon us.
