As the world is moving fast into a digital era, India is still leaving behind the majority of its rural population, who live in almost no awareness of it. Most of the rural areas are not actually experiencing the digital penetration that the statistics tell.

In most government schools and colleges, the

1. infrastructure, 
2. qualified staff, and 
3. curriculum 

has not been updated to reflect the growing employment needs in the sector and neither are there formalized means to impart the digital skills to the unemployed youth.

We, at Panchayati Rural Development Society, have been putting in our efforts to enable computer education reach them. These skills of using a computer and working on softwares (MS Office, C, C++, etc) will act as a great launchpad for them to secure a job and have regular incomes flow into their families. We run various programs with the government schools in the villages in Telangana and also with various youth associations to help impart this knowledge that is essential to their career building. We require support in setting up a Computer Lab at taluk level itself that can be used to serve more and more aspirants and also reach out to all those who need skill up-gradation programs. All contributions received are meant for the establishment of this computer lab at Hayatnagar Taluk in Rangareddy district by purchasing Laptops, PCs, Projectors and lab furniture.
