Hey Fellow Humanitarians!

With the lockdown being extended, uncertainty and fear of the unknown are taking over. Let's instill hope back into our city and feed those in need! The daily wage workers, the homeless and other vulnerable communities need us to step up.

Healthcare staff, our police force, Cleaning workers, NGO volunteers and all essential workers are putting their health at risk to keep us safe. Let's show our support and appreciation to our frontline heroes.

The time is NOW! Let's give our city the love it deserves. Show you care, give a share! You can make a difference - Help us raise 2.5 crores to help those in need.

The funds raised will be used for the following:

1) To supply monthly kits to the urban poor across the Delhi NCR Metropolitan Region:

Rice - 10 kg, atta - 10 kg, dal - 4 kg, oil - 2 litres, 1 packet salt and some spices, soaps - 2.

Based on budget availability, we can also provide in each kit: onion - 1 kg, potatoes - 2 kg and sugar - 1kg.

The cost of each supply kit is approximately Rs. 1,500.

The procured supply kits will be handed over to the Young Team Self Help Group.  Once delivered to their distribution centres, their trained volunteers will handle frontline distribution. YUVA is distributing the kits in identified areas across Delhi NCR, Navi Delhi NCR, Vasai-Virar and Panvel.

2) Daily cooked meals for Police, Healthcare Workers and all essential workers on the frontline:

A mix of Dal, Rice, Roti and Sabzi meal boxes.

Via Yuva , we will fund 9,000 cooked meals that will be provided on a daily basis by Blue Sea Banquets/ LifeCo (K Hospitality Corp) in Worli. Each meal box will cost us between Rs. 25 - Rs. 38, which means we will be spending over Rs 2.5 lakhs everyday to provide nutritious food to our frontline heroes.

3) Safety Kit For Each Volunteer:

High quality reusable N95 mask - 1, pack of 50 disposable gloves - 1 and Sanitizer (200 ml) - 1.

As the volunteers will be exposed to many people during distribution and are risking their health to help those in need, it is important that they are provided with the necessary safety equipment. Each safety kit will cost Rs.1500.

The situation is rapidly evolving and we need to provide relief, aid, and support to many more people than we initially anticipated. Please donate and help us support our city in its time of need!

Stay safe & stay healthy!
