Greetings from Straydogsfeeder!!!
Straydogsfeeder is a community of feeders who have joints hands to look after the Strays animal and their health transformation.

We took responsibility of feeding, sterilizing, vaccinating as many dogs as possible in our locality, also  hospitalizing injured and accidental cases.

Being as a feeder we always face challenges in our day to day activities, there are many barriers when it comes to feeding stray animals.

Hugely we do not get support of local people as some are not animal lovers.Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are facing huge shortage of food and funds for the treatment of our stray animals.

The Indian monsoon typically lasts from June-September overall, monthly totals average 200-300 mm over the country as a whole, with the largest values observed during the heart of the monsoon season in July and August.
Feeders who feed free-roaming animals face an unusual challenge. This year the situation outside is much tougher than before as due to impact of tremendous increase in corona cases in India.

During monsoon stray animals are widely affected, as they do not get shed to hide and moreover they do not get food. In this situation they are tend to become weak which leads to various health problem.
The common diseases found in strays during monsoon are distemper, jaundice, parvo and rabies.
These all are life threatening diseases. From last 2 years we have seen an increase of this disease in stray dogs in huge number, every month we come across with 10-15 dogs suffering from distemper and nearly 8-12 dogs suffering from jaundice. So this month we are targeting to vaccinate our strays animals with 9 in1 vaccine and anti- rabies vaccine to nearly 100 dogs.
