Until Jan'2020; Dilip was living his livelihood by running a cab for an IT company in Gurgaon. He was quite happy as he was able to feed his family on whatever he was earning by running his cab day & night on roads. His handicap wife was also adding some money for the house by working as a cashier in one the eatery joint.
Like any other limited low income family; living with one son, two dependent parents, one child waiting to come to this world they also had some dreams, they both were willing to purchase a small house for which they saved some money and paid it to the builder.
On one hand Dilip and his wife were planning and working hard to fulfil their dreams; this deadly VIRUS CORONA was having some other plans. It started hitting hard India and one day when prime minister of India announced lockdown like many other Indians; life of Dilip and his wife came to a halt. Though like all of us they were also thinking that this will pass soon but unfortunately that didn't happen.
Dilip lost his cab work.
His wife lost her job.
GOD brought one good news for them - Dilip's wife gave birth to a beautiful little Girl - AARVI.
To bring little Aarvi in this world Dilip sold his car to clear medical dues for his wife and daughter.
Payment which they made for buying a house, is still with the builder. He is not even sure when would he be able to start EMIs for his dream house.
Time passed by - Dilip started getting calls from his son's school for making payment of fees. He is still struggling to arrange money for his son's school fee which is pending from Dec 2020 till date.
Now Dilip's handicap wife has joined another eatery joint but on a very small salary and dinner for her. Fortunately she gets some extra food for family which they eat during the night. His wife stays away from Aarvi through out the day just to earn livelihood of the family.
Dilip has also started driver's job with some vendor [with many restrictions and limited earning/day] with very minimal/limited earning [Rs100/- to Rs150/-] per day.
But we feel this is not enough for them, Aarvi who deserves to spend full day with her feeding mother is living on artificial milk throughout the day.
This June Aarvi is turning ONE [year old], we want to gift some Happiness to Aarvi by giving some happiness to her father & family - we want to buy a commercial car for Dilip [Aarvi's father]. This fund raiser will help Aarvi to live her early childhood the way she deserves, with her mother with lots of toys and joy.
