While much bright life can be upon putting great efforts, it can still be very hard given under different circumstances. Give it all you can, and you can still be let down for mental health, which takes thousands of lives around the globe. Each one of those lives has different problems to sort out, to make perfect, and to live. Yet, life ceases to exist when one cannot take it anymore. The burden and the weight of sadness or bothering keeps adding more to the heart. At one such time, it tends not to dwell in this space. Life can be tough, but leaving the life can be much tougher to your loved ones.

Arun Gugulothu, an alumnus of NITK, Suratkal, didn’t get his mind right and decided to end things for himself. But little did he know that he would make life harder for his family as well.
Arun came from an impoverished economic background family in Warangal, Telangana. He struggled his way through his studies by working hard to see him and his family at a well-set position. He finished his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya in Warangal and, with combined efforts, secured a seat at one of the Nation’s finest institutes, NITK (National Institute of Technology Karnataka), Suratkhal.
As he came from a low-income family, he had to take up an educational loan, which is an added burden to the existing family’s debts. Since Arun was elder among his siblings (a younger brother and a sister), he took the weight upon his shoulders. He worked hard through his undergraduate degree and placed himself in a decent Mining Company since it was his field of expertise.
Very soon, things turned around, and the company got shut, which left him with no money or employment in hands to pay for the educational loan and family debts. He was clear of working for something to get the family out of the debt situation and started preparing for the Govt. exams.
To add to the mounting pressure, both his parents’ health was crumbling, which added more to their growing debt. Things unseen, Arun committed suicide on Jan 26th, 2020, because he got mentally disturbed of the sudden mishappenings in his life. He was soon found by his friends, who then took him to the hospital in a critical situation. He succumbed to death after 10 days while in treatment under a ventilator.
The family fell apart upon hearing the news because Arun was the only son who was well educated and worked hard for his family’s well being. He had another burden, that is, to get her younger sister married, which also fell apart. Because of the added stress, his parents, too, are not doing well.
Post this, the country is currently in a crisis, and the downfalling family needs every bit of help one can offer. We intend to raise Rs. 5 lakh to help his family clear the debts and give them a new beginning in this situation. Please do help as much as you can for the family.
