Sanskrita Foundation is a registered charitable trust established by Odissi exponent Guru Shubhada Varadkar in 2006 dedicated to promoting Indian art and culture. The foundation believes in emphasizing the importance of traditional art and culture as a means of communication and preserve the integrity of classical dance styles.

Sanskrita Foundation has multi-fold activities in various fields like the Performing Arts, Sports Training along with its philanthropic endeavours. Apart from organizing various classical dance performances by some of the leading artists we also give opportunity to upcoming young artists. As part of social responsibility and commitment, Sanskrita Foundation conducts free dance classes for underprivileged children and raises funds for poor cancer patients/ artists for the past many years.

Ram Ratan Dhan- Lata Mangeshkar is a soulful presentation of the evergreen melodies sung by Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar performed on stage on her original recordings for the first time by Classical dancers of India. These will include dancers of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri and even contemporary Dance styles.  A wide genre of songs is curated to give a wholesome experience to the audience. Songs range from film songs, devotional songs, Ghazals etc in various languages. Her songs truly depict the concept of Unity in Diversity which is the core philosophy of India.

Lata Didi was an epitome of distilled purity in her work, dedication, determination, and generosity have been known worldwide. She was always supportive of the artists in the music industry and has helped many to find a foothold in their careers. This wonderful tribute to our Lata Didi has been conceptualized by eminent Odissi exponent Guru Shubhada Varadkar.

Sanskrita Foundation needs your support to host this unique presentation. This program will create performance opportunities for 40 classical dancers and give employment to many other professionals like Stage décor, Lights, Sound, Costume tailors, etc for whom the last 2 years have been a very challenging year due to the lack of any live shows.
