AIM
We are focusing on underprivileged children in Hyderabad and reduce the consequences of lack of education. We plan to serves as a bridge between elementary and higher education and prepare young persons between the age group of 14-18 for entry into higher education.
This proposal from Todays Kalam Foundation really excites us as we believe that it will truly change the lives of children from that are considered to be deprived. Now it’s time to make a change to inherited outcomes and start to make a difference where it really does matter.
We aim to deliver an education that will provide every student with the qualification and skills to become successful in their lives.
Background of Students:
We are selecting the students from slums of Hyderabad.In slums the congested habitations and living conditions make academic excellence a challenge. Education is discontinued at a young age for most children due to financial constraints and safety concerns. The kids who drop out are involved in household chores, child labor, child marriages etc.
We support them to write Direct 10th / SSC (Open 10th).
Selection Procedure:Written exam and interview we will ask the reason for dropout of school and his future plan and take consent from their parents or guardian
Training:
He will be
Equivalent to General 10th (or) SSC
Eligible for Higher Education
Eligible for State and Central Govt. Jobs
Total 40 students will be benefitted
Future Plan:
We help students after tenth to continue their education for higher studies or we will help them in getting basic Jobs with tenth qualification.
Budget Requirement for a Student:
Exam fees 2000/-
Training and material costs (40 classes per year) 12000/-
Administration cost- 1000/-
Total amount for a student per year 15000/-

- Every Student will be attending 40 Classes in a year (minimum 90% attendance).
- Exams will be conducted at regular intervals and accordingly training will be given in weak subjects.
