These cows are rescued from illegal slaughter after their milking period. They have given us milk all their live long years irrespective of how they were treated. Once they are done producing milk they are discarded and termed as "Fit for slaughter". In India we treat the cows with utmost care and respect yet there is rampant cattle slaughter and smuggling. We have done our bit for them by saving over 1100 cows that are sheltered in our Goushala.
Due to nCOVID19 we are unable to receive donations for buying fodder and medicine for the animals. We have a requirement of about 20 tons of fodder per day for frugal needs of the cows. This amounts to an expense of 40 Lakhs a month. We have stopped receiving donations for the past two months and the fodder that we had stocked is almost empty. We are at the stage where the poor animals will die of starvation if not helped now!
Please do join hands to come forward and donate to feed these innocent souls and help them fight Starvation.
