Over the last week, Teach For India Fellows working in two schools of the community began identifying the needs of our 700 students. This exercise highlighted a set of critical and urgent needs. To ensure that our students and their families have sufficient food, water, shelter and medical assistance, we- the Teach for India Fellows working in the Munirka community- are making an appeal to you to participate in our relief efforts.
We are coordinating relief operations through the people best equipped to provide them - vetted organisations, NGOs, and our Fellows and Alumni - to ensure we get the most critical and urgent needs of our students and their families met over the next few weeks. These funds will be utilised, on the ground, to help make available a variety of immediate resources for communities in need.
