This fundraiser is for my queer friend (name changed for safety reasons) who comes from an extremely bigoted and homophobic family. Their parents refuse to pay for their living expenses and are violent and abusive towards them. They have battled with suicidal thoughts in the past and are currently in therapy and are on medication for BPD, Depression, Anxiety and OCD.
Their therapy and medications cost about 6,000/- per month and they need to move out to escape their abusive home and spend about 10,000/- for their living expenses and materials for college.
I'm keeping their identity anonymous for their personal safety but they have all bills, prescriptions, and other proofs to show for their expenditure.
They are looking for a part time job which is hard as an 18 year old but as of now, they need to collect funds for atleast a year to need to be able to pay rent deposit, have some savings and pay for their daily expenditure.
