    This fundraiser will benefit

    Annapurna Visalakshi Mangipudi

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

With deepest sadness we convey the news of the demise of our beloved Phani Kumar (Venkata Mangipudi) who was only 39 years old, due to COVID after a couple of weeks ICU battle (a week on ventilator) at KIMS Hyderabad, India.
We have tried all possible lines of treatment but couldn't save him.  It is highly unfortunate and brutal manifestation of destiny.
He is survived by his wife Anu and 2 children (11yrs boy & 6yrs girl)
As most of you know, Phani was a great techie who designed several e-commerce applications for several international brands. He was very enthusiastic and took greater career risks in life in the pursuit of his dreams.  He resigned from Infosys and started his own startup 4 years ago. Unfortunately, due to the economic situation and COVID pandemic it didn’t take off but he was able to manage hand to mouth all these days.
Since he was self-employed and the only bread winner in the family his unexpected demise caused a lot of emotional and financial distress to the family.
His wife Anu hasn’t come out of this shock yet. Anu now faces the task of being the sole caregiver for their 2 loving kids, after being a stay-at-home mother all these years. It’s beyond any imagination what amount of pain and grief they are going through while also trying to plan for life ahead without her soulmate, their protector and provider.  As Phani became busy with his start-up activities and couldn’t find time till late evening, both Phani & his son used to wake up at 5am in the morning & they both used to go out & play (Every day!!).  Phani never misses reading bed time stories to both his kids.
At this juncture securing the future and welfare of both his kids became a top concern and priority.  Therefore, we decided to help his family through fund raising.  While we cannot take out an ounce of Anu’s pain, we humbly request all of you to please support her with whatever you can to help.  Please note: No contribution is small.
