    This fundraiser will benefit

    Anna Kshetra Charitable Trust

    from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

This campaign is to raise money for a South Indian charity, called Anna Kshetra, in the region of Kerala. This charity feeds many homeless individuals on the streets of Kerala daily. The founder, Rama Rajesh ji has sacrificed all his family life for the welfare of the poor. He quit a more lucrative job in the Gulf to pursue what he considers his true calling of serving those in need. After coming back to India, he rejected good marriage proposals at a very young age and due to that disappointment his family kicked him out of his house. He then started selling gifts and greeting cards on the street and finally started running a small 50sq ft shop near Karunagapally, Kerala. All that he earned from his shop he was giving away as pension to the old women. After his father passed away in 2007, his family gave their guest house: Ram's Gratitude Inn, Varkala for him to run, but he is not focusing on that as a 'business source' at all. He has given all the profits that he makes from his hard work, as it is single man operated guest house with no reception, no roomboy, no cleaning staff etc, all to Anna Kshetra. He could have rented out the guest house to someone and earned a lot more money, but he is not one to succumb to such materialistic wants.

He delivers the food to the needy himself each day. Sometimes he's accompanied by volunteers residing nearby and sometimes guests from all over the world who are staying at his guest house.

The people who receive this food and care are often orphans, widows, or disabled individuals separated from family by forces beyond their control and are unable to care for themselves. In other cases, they are what remains of the family when the breadwinner has passed away or is otherwise absent. In many cases, they are mothers struggling to overcome obstacles that have prevented them from caring properly for their children.

In addition to feeding people on the street, Anna Kshetra supports individuals desperately in need of funds for education or medical procedures and does its best to help.

Anna Kshetra has extended its support to help complete the education needs of 100 students and has provided many patients medical aid in amounts ranging from Rs 1000/- to Rs 10000/-.

It has now begun a fundraising campaign, who's goal is to build its own kitchen (as currently he is getting food from a temporary kitchen by paying them for per package) and feeding 300 poor people everyday without fail.

With the help of kind hearted people Anna Kshetra Charitable Trust ( reg.no :141/IV/2015) has now fed over 2 lakh people until May 2019.

For Anna Kshetra's Kitchen so far we have raised( offline) and spent Rs.300030/- already.

As below,

Phase 1:infrastructure (for flooring,wiring, carpentry,painting) 89830/-

Phase 2:Kitchen Equipments& Gasline 92000/-

Phase 3:Water source area development & Water filter installation 118200/-

The current aim of this campaign is to raise another Rs 370,000 for aiding towards

Phase 4: Kitchen waste water treatment plant. 140000/-

Phase 5: Kitchen solid waste plant. 30000/-

Phase 6: Cooking Vessels 50000/-

Phase 7: Food Delivery Van ( down payment for loan) - 100000/-

With its own kitchen,Anna Kshetra can feed more people as well as directly control the quality and variety of food provided. However, please note that funds raised by this campaign will go to whichever need is most urgent.

He is trying to help save money for the kitchen, but some of these funds also go to continually feed the hungry on the streets.

Ultimately the purpose of the campaign is to provide Rama Rajeshji with funds to help him serve those in need with appropriate measures.
