Ankita Bishi, a student (7th standard) of government UPS school Mandal, Balangir is a differently abled child whose both legs are damaged due to polio, has cerebral palsy and a poor family to take care of her. She is the only child of the family, which is headed by her father is a daily wage laborer. Her family decided that they wish to educate her and get her to do something different. Alas her father is the only source of livelihood in their family and has been facing difficulties in earning day to day livelihood.
She is a good student and is always eager to learn more, because of which her parents enrolled her to the government UPS school not being certain about how the future will turnout, yet at least giving her a chance to make a change and make a name for herself.
For that Ankita’s education expenses for next 4 years such as (school fees, books and study material expenses) as well as medical expenses such as (therapy, medical intervention) needs to be taken care of.
We are also planning to provide her assistive devices like wheel chair and caliper rollators so that she can move around without any assistance and don’t have to depend on others extensively.
We are aiming to raise ₹4 lakh which will support Ankita’s medical as well as academic obligations for at least next 4 years. And you can be a part of her journey as well. Do contribute to bring this change in her life. Donations, healthcare or education support of any and all kind will be extremely appreciated.
