My name is Saheli Ganguly. I am an Assistant Professor in the Dept of ECE at Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata and I am here to raise funds for my mother Anita Sarkhel who is 60 years old. Anita Sarkhel lives in Kolkata, India with her husband & daughter.  She was a Doctor at Department of Health, Kolkata Municipal Corporation. She had to drop her job due to illness. My Father is a retired pensioner. I am working under a consolidated pay scale.

Anita Sarkhel is suffering from Lung cancer with brain and sclerotic metastasis since Oct 2020. Anita Sarkhel is currently receiving oral chemotherapy treatment but not admitted into the hospital.

She is receiving Tagrisso 80 medicine which costs about Rs. 1.6 lakhs per month. We have managed to continue this for 6months to date but after this, it will be a serious financial issue. The doctor has prescribed to continue medicine.
Until now, we've spent about Rs. 9,60,000.
