The Animal Hospital and Shelter in Noida is the largest and most diverse shelter of its kind in the NCR region.
Home to over 1300+ animals undergoing treatments at any given time, it caters to the needs of Noida and its surrounding areas injured, sick and abandoned street animals, including Dogs, Cats, Cows, Bulls, Donkeys, Horses, Monkeys, Birds, and even Camels.
The Ambulances of the Hospital and Shelter attend to over 50 rescue calls daily.
The shelter is also actively involved in rehabilitating abandoned dogs and cats and finding loving homes for them.The paralyzed section is home to over 80 paralyzed dogs that require, and get specialized, intensive treatments and loving care daily.
The Animal Hospital and Shelter has recently come under the able management of the Dhyan Foundation and while Noida Authority supports it with some consumables, the rest needs to be raised through donations.

A number of areas require immediate improvements, and some new facilities need to be set up too.
Immediate assistance is needed in setting up the following facilities in the first phase:
1. 24x7 emergency treatment room with a separate operating theater for walk-in cases
2. Open enclosure for blind large animals, who need the space to move around safely
3. Cattery with a fully functional operating theater, in a separate area away from the dogs
4. ICU for paralyzed and critical dogs
5. Incinerator, with enclosure, to give a proper send-off and end-of-life closure to pet and shelter animals
