Aniket is 8 year old child diagnosed with blood disorder ITP in 2019. Treated and was doing well. All of sudden 2 weeks back his Himoglobin level fell down to 2 and become unconscious . Admitted to Kokilaben hospital where he was earlier treated ITP(Platlet disorder). His condition is still unstable even after 12 days in ICU on ventilator support. He is diagnosed with Autoimmune Heamolytic Aneamea and HLH which is very rare and life threatening. Doctor have shown little hope after 10 days for his survival. Daily blood and pplatlets is being transfused along with medicines.
His father is now unemployed since 3 months & so far he manged treatment cost (approx 20 Laks)but now it is difficult for him to continue. Doctors are saying that Bone marrow transplant may be required. Even after 45 day in hospital his condition is unstable & unpredictable.
