Hi, I'm Ananya Chakraborti and I'm in urgent need of financial help for college and daily expenses till I graduate to get a job.

My parents separated almost a year ago and both of them are not treating me well since then. My father used to pay for my expenses but he has stopped doing that and I had to incur debts for food, transportation, etc. since then. I stay at a rented place in Kolkata away from my home city for college. I'm currently having a financial crunch and I'm not sure if my parents will pay for my semester fees anymore.

My father is a bit toxic to me, isn't ready to pay as he faces some financial problems of his own. He verbally and emotionally abuses me at times. I also have developed mental health issues for which I need professional help which he didn't agree to pay for.

Where I intend to use the money:

• A big portion would go towards paying my college semester fees
• I would also use the funds for my rent, food and monthly expenses
• I have to keep aside some money for medical help and emergencies
• Any extra money left over will be paid forward to charity
