My brother Anantha Reddy works as unmanned worker in electricity department on temporary basis. While he was repairing 11kv transformer, the other employee has switched on the transformer by mistaken. As its 11kv, he had major burns on his body, lost his right hand, removed fingers on legs, internal organs were damaged and now paralyzed and completely bed ridden. He undergone multiple surgeries and was in hospital for more than 2 months. As he working on temporary basis, the electricity board has paid very nominal amount. He lives in Regulagudem village, Kataram Mandal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Karimnagar district, Telangana state. He has 2 school going daughters and his wife is housewife. He is the source of income for the family. The family already spent lot of money for initial treatment. The family has approached Apollo hospitals, Hyderabad for further medical treatment. Doctors told that there are 50-50 chances that he can walk after doing a spine surgery and it costs around 4 lacs and additional money for post surgery expenses. Hence requesting all helping hands to support my brother and help his family.
