Due to incessant rain, the situation in the flood-ravaged state of Assam continues to worsen. As per the daily report of Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), the condition is gruesome with approx 43 lakh people in 4,157 villages are reeling under the severe impact of the floods. This has led to 1,53,211 hectares of farmland submerged in 30 of 33 districts of the northeastern state of India including Lakhimpur, Nalbari, Sonitpur, Dhemaji, Biswanath, Baksa, Darrang, Udalguri, Barpeta, Chirang, Bongaigaon, Nagaon, Hailakandi Goalpara, Morigaon, Hailakandi, and Kokrajhar as the rain continued unabated.
Therefore we have been helping the victims of flood. Though our hands are not enough. We request all of you to provide a helping hand and donate as much as you can. Thank you.
