Mr. Amit is the only breadwinner of his family who has a widow sister mother and him.
Amit is a professional bus driver. He used to peddle commuters for long-distance journeys from Bihar to neighboring states. Recently in an unfortunate accident near Jhanjharpur, Bihar, AMIT suffered a complex multiple bone fracture of legs. He is a very brave driver, while saving the fellow commuters he tried everything possible and sustained a life-threatening injury. He could have saved himself at the cost of other staff lives , those who were sitting beside him. But he was such a kind person that he just tried to control the vehicle in such a way that No other casualty was reported other than to the driver himself. Everyone present their, who witnessed this were praising him for showing his such immense humanity. Amit was one of the drivers who was working forefront in the times of COVID-19. In an emergency case, he is now admitted to care n cure nursing home Siliguri and doctors suggest urgent complex multiple surgeries at specialty hospitals which requires hefty fees.
Since he has no insurance to pay for his medical, he is now only left with crowdfunding.
The patient is a marginal farmer with subsistence farming the family used to run till now.
We all love AMIT because he was very genuine and open to all. He helped everyone if he can without any expectations.
The effects of this medical condition are devastating to his family, however, the prognosis, with the medicine and subsequent surgery, is a 55 percent survival rate, with a full recovery.
The family has appealed to the insurance company, but with no luck. The payment for the surgery requires 10 lakh urgently.
We can’t cure AMIT, but we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that the family is facing. Our goal is to raise the entire 10 LAKH INR for them.
