Story

Our Cause -

India has the largest population of blind people in the world. That’s over 8 million people. Most of them live in the poorest parts of the country with little or no access to even basic health care facilities. But did you know that 75 percent of them could have been prevented from going blind if they had received timely treatment?

We are trying to help such patients and families. We are promoting eye health in India and doing work to prevent blindness.

Diwali is a festival of light. For blind people, the best light could be giving their eyesight back.

*** Let's gift light of life to needy people on this Diwali. ***

About us

Amcorp Vision foundation (AV Foundation) is an organization that works with partners in India to eliminate avoidable blindness and fight for the rights and needs of people with disabilities. Amcorp Vision Foundation (AV Foundation) is a non-profit organization, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, and founded in 2020 with CIN U85300UP2020NPL133432 by individuals from varying fields. NGO Founder Amit Dwivedi aims at addressing the critical challenges of healthcare for society.

AV Foundation’s work in India will enable thousands of people to lead lives of independence and dignity. We have local partners to support the treatment of people with eye disorders.

We are aiming to provide eyesight to patients suitable for cataract surgery on the pretext of the Diwali festival. With your support, we can achieve this. This would give us the satisfaction of serving the people.

For this purpose, we have partnered with eye hospital Deep Netralaya in Balrampur Uttar Pradesh for covering cataract surgery for patients. Normal cataract surgery costs around 15-20 thousand rupees, which is quite a high amount for rural people to pay. The entire hospital team, along with Eye Surgeon Dr. Kuldeep Vishwakarma is supporting us in this social cause. With our partner support, we would be able to cover it at a very low, nominal cost of 5 thousand per person (lense, medicines, equipment, misc).

Every sum of 5 thousand rupees would bring light to one person. A small amount would bring a big change in the patient's life. Collectively we are aiming to cure a significant number of patients during Diwali.

Let's spread real light during this Diwali..Light for humanity
