Hello, my name is Amit Chansoria. My dog Pablo recently got diagnosed with a severe case of Hip Displacia. He is 4 years old. He has been a healthy dog all his life but in the recent few months, his Hip Displacia has gotten real bad, to the point where he finds it very hard to use his legs or even sit sometimes. Doctors advised that at this stage for him to function normally, they will have to perform a surgery to alleviate pain and ensure that he is able to walk and run again normally. Usually there is no cure for Hip displacia and the only way to ensure that it does not aggravate is by taking the dog through Hydrotherapy and other physical activities which help. In the case of our dog, the ligaments in the Hip area clash with each other causing him too much pain and hence the doctors will perform a procedure to remove any additional ligament ensuring he is able to normally sit, walk and run. I have been struggling financially being affected by the COVID situation where my Promotion got stalled at work as companies aim at lowering operations cost and my pay hike for this fiscal year was put on hold as well. I had a lot banking on this promotion/hike. I have been struggling financially having taken a home loan which I thought I would be able to replay considering I was getting a promotion which did not happen. I also have my parents who depend on me financially and hence this has put me in a tough spot. The past month, we have been taking our dog to the hospital regularly where we had to get meds and several tests done for him. Currently he is on a medication course and a diet of supplements which are expensive. With all that is going on right now, we are finding it hard to arrange for funds for his surgery. Pablo and I are looking for your help. We would be very thankful if you are able to assist us.
