I am Amanda. I'm 23 years old, and living away from my family.
Currently I'm working with transgender activists for the betterment of LGBTQIA+ Community. My family never understood me and I've been denied my basic human rights more, being a trans person who's not undergone Sex Reassignment Surgery (SRS). I had faced discrimination in my previous working spaces not just because I'm a trans woman but also a pre operated trans woman.
For years, I've been dreaming of undergoing Sex Reassignment Surgery (SRS) or more aptly, Gender Reaffirming Surgery. My doctor gave me an estimate of INR 3,00,000 to be able to realize my dream. I am planning to consult with Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Pondicherry.
