    Aman Malhotra

    from Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are safe and healthy during this covid19 pandemic.

My name is Sanjay Malhotra and I'm trying to raise funds for the treatment of my nephew Aman Malhotra who lives in Dehradun(Uttarakhand, India).

Beginning of June, Aman fell sick with initial diagnosis as Jaundice. He was under the medication and treatment as suggested by the Doctors.
Even after changing 3 hospitals and consulting several doctors his vitals were not improving and the bilirubin was 20 times higher than the normal level along with all other indicators highly elevated that the normal levels compromising his liver functioning.

Along with his elevated bilirubin level, his platelets count was falling drastically and was left with just 5000.
He is currently in the critical care unit of Max Super Specialty Hospital since the end of June-2020. The doctors have conducted the biopsy of his bone marrow and diagnosed his condition to an acute hepatitis(auto immune) along with aplastic anaemia. His bone marrow is completely suppressed and it cannot create the blood cells required by the body.
He has a very low platelets count. Even after infusion of blood and platelets regularly, the number reduces back to around 5000 every second day.

So far we have spent closer to 20 Lakhs rupees(2 million INR) for his treatment and have run out of funds for his further treatment.

Doctor expects that it will take a longer time(maybe months) for his recovery and will have to be in the ICU/ER.

To support his further treatment we need more funds.
He is the only child to his parents.
I humbly request you to please come forward and support our cause.
Any contribution will be of immense help. Please include him in your prayers for his speedy recovery.

Kindly share this with your family and friends and help us in these challenging times.
