Walking 4 Pilgrimages In Uttarakhand, Planting Trees.

Story

We will be walking all 4 pilgrimages in Uttarakhand and plan is to plant trees, creating a trail of nature's beauty. More than 700 kilometers of the walk and a high possibility of a plantation.

I promise to make a documentary on this 30-day trip. I proposed an idea of the plantation of a good number of trees on completion of good no of steps. We will contact nearby schools to join in our walk for a half or full kilometer or more, planting trees and we want to take care of refreshments, healthy ones for kids. Fruits and milk.

I am excited about this because I think I can not walk more than 700 kilometers in less than 30 days, but, that might help the adrenaline rush. The plan is to catch a bus from Delhi to Yamunotri and then keep walking till the 4th pilgrimage. If money is collected then 2 people will go and if not one is going for sure because he went alone on a bicycle to Ladakh alone from Manali. I, on the other hand, will go as Watson goes with Sherlock Holmes.

A happy trail of flowers and trees is what we want to leave behind in the fight against the trail of plastic by travelers. We want to collect garbage as well and see if we can put it where it belongs. Help us help nature.
If you are nearby in mid-September to mid-October then you can also be part of the walk and plant. If it goes good then the next walk and plant will be bigger.

Namaste.
