Hello Everyone
I am Deepthi Kannan From Kerala I have started this fundraiser on behalf of the school ALPS Mudappallur South, a govt. aided school my mother is working for which is located in a rural village of Palakkad, Kerala. We need to procure funds to provide smartphones for underprivileged students so that they can attend daily classes which are now conducted online due to Covid 19. 100% of the students studying here come from the DBA community. Most of them who’s parents were daily wage earners who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
Out of the 356 students, we have identified 62 of them who has no access to a smartphone and can’t afford to buy one.
Considering an average cost of 5500 INR for a phone, we need to raise a total of 3,50, 000 INR to enable education for 70 students.
A smart phone has become a basic necessity to attend classes now a days. Help us by supporting this noble cause so that these kids are not deprived of their basic right to preliminary education.
