Mr. Alphonsraj Solomon has been struggling for over a month with Covid and its complications. Due to medical negligence and previous history of a heart attack, blocks were formed in the arteries and veins of the right leg.  The family has shifted him to 4 different hospitals and currently Admitted at East point medical college (Govt.) has struggled financially throughout the process. Mr. Alphonsraj an electrical contractor, has not had a job since his heart attack in 2017. His son Prabhu Solomon is the sole earning member of the family.  Mr. Alphonsraj also has a daughter who is currently a student in college and his wife is a homemaker.

Currently the family are in need of finances to pay for the amputation procedure and other medical costs. The amputation procedure and other related medical costs are estimated at INR 3.65lakhs of which INR 70,000/- has been paid.

Below is a timeline of events of his medical condition:

27th April 2021 - Tested positive for covid.
29th April 2021 - Admitted at East point medical college (Govt.) - Breathless, SpO2-83
17th May 2021 -  Breathless and discharged from East Point medical college with blue discoloration and swelling of limbs.
18th May-  Mr. Alphonsraj was breathless again. Infected lungs and blocks in the artery in veins of his limbs.
19th May 2021 - Admitted to Sakra Hospital for Covid treatment and it's complications.
26th May - Doctors have prepared for thrombolysis on both leg.
28th May to 1st June - Thrombolysis conducted over a period of three days and the procedure failed to remove all clots required.  Right leg has gangrene and boils formation.
4th June - Mr. Alphonsraj shifted to Aster hospital for further medical assistance as Sakra was expensive.
5th and 6th June - Administered with medicines to help remove clots. Failure of which led doctors to prepare for amputation.
7th June - The right leg is amputated from the calf and below.
