Alok is a Science Enthusiast who is interested in understanding public policies and solving real-life problems, He is an electrical engineer by degree and social engineer by his profession. He believes building a strong network of self-driven and committed youth for social change and problem-solving can solve many of the severe problems our country is facing. Volunteering at the National Service Scheme brought him towards community service, it was his first realization that Selfless community service gives the best feeling of the world, "The sense of satisfaction". For his extraordinary community projects at NSS, he got to represent at several State and National level events and got honored with coveted Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Award 2013-14 by honorable President of India.
Presently as Swasth Bharat Prerak in Kanpur Dehat, I am working along with district collector for convergence of Government schemes to eradicate poverty, anemia & malnutrition, In the span of  last 7 years (4 years of volunteering and 3 years as a development professional),through his different community projects he had constantly contributed towards the realization of UN’s first 6 sustainable development Goals “No Poverty”, “Zero Hunger”, “Good Health & Well Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality & “Clean Water and Sanitation” in three different states of India Haryana, Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh.
Recently he has been selected to represent India at Asia Youth International Model United Nation to be organized in Kulalampur, Malaysia, He sees this as a great opportunity to learn and share innovative solutions to the global platform, develop a broader understanding of global issues affecting India and building a network with changemakers from the different parts of the world.
He is really prepared and started working on his position paper to make this opportunity count but financial restraints are stopping his ways as Asia Youth International Model United nation has no scholarships to offer and even getting sponsorship for attending the MUN is little bleak, So he has initiated this fundraising to get the required financial support to attend this Asia Youth International Model United Nation.
