    This fundraiser will benefit

    Aliya Mallik

    from West Bengal

Hello, my name is Sumit and I am here to raise funds for Aliya Mallik who is suffering from Papillary Carcinoma Thyroid (thyroid cancer).

She is a 45 years old from a very poor background and lives in Bankura district of West Bengal. Her husband is a poor farmer somehow managing the both ends meet and her son is a student.

She was suffering from a lump in the neck for last few years with severe pain and congestion in the throat recently.
As per the Doctor's advise she has gone through a neck surgery beginning of this year at Vivekananda Hospital, Durgapur, West Bengal.

Being from a financially challenged background, the family somehow managed the expenses from their savings, selling farmland and borrowing from known well wishers.

But her last histopathology report says that she is suffering from papillary carcinoma of thyroid (PTC) which is a form of well-differentiated thyroid cancer. According to the doctors, she can be cured but need to go for an urgent operation as early possible. The treatments, which are usually successful, include surgery, hormone therapy, radioactive iodine, radiation and in some cases chemotherapy.

But the family is helpless now to fight the disease.
Whatever they had, they spent for her treatment, medicine and first operation at the beginning of this year.

Until now, they spent almost Rs 10,00,000. They don't have any savings left now. We have arranged amounts from relatives & loans. In the next 33 days, they need at least Rs. 15,00,000 or more for operation, hospital expenses and continuous medicines.

I am requesting all to please come forward and help us.
Your small help and contribution will be a great help for survival of my aunt and her family.

Please come forward to support my cause. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.
