Hi,
KARAMoC is conducting a massive cleanathon and plantation as part of the World Environment day on June 5th 2019 with the support from BBMP, Bangalore Traffic police and NGOs Way for Life and Lets be the Change.
The cleanathon and plantation starts from the Sarakki signal and extends until the HM Tambourine Apartment. The following things will be conducted on the environment day.
1. Cleaning and beautifying all the blackspots that come under this stretch.
2. Painting the huge stretch of medians of metro (about 2.2km - 1.1 km on both sides)
3. Planting shrubs on the places left out by Rohan Builders.
4. Fixing broken slabs if possible
5. Doing a bamboo fencing on Black spot opposite HM tambourine to prevent Pissing
Removing all the GAIL gas pipelines on kanakapura Road until the actual work starts (GAIL has promised to do it before the event)

KARAMoC (Kanakapura road apartments, movement of change) is a consortium of apartments on kanakapura road currently representing about 11apartements, 1500units and about 6000-7000 residents.
KARAMoC was started in 2016 and has extensively worked with the elected representatives to make the neighborhood better. Some of the programs of KARAMoC include
1. Breakfast with Pourakarmikas
2. Waste segregation awareness program
3. Cleanathon
4. Demand for pedestrian facilities and awareness with traffic police
and so on
KARAMOC apartments are spread across jaraganahalli and Yelachenahallli Wards and includes Nagarjuna Premier, Maya Indraprastha, Temple Trees, Purva Belmont, Adarsh Nivas, GR Grand, HM Tambourine, Balaji Paradise, Gaana Regency and Comfort Arizona apartments
We would need the following materials on the event day to make it successful and we need contributions from you to procure them

For plantation
700-1000 plants of any of the following variety
1) Euphorbia Milii
2) Bougainvillea
3) Tecoma GaudiChaudi
Black Spots Fixing
Terracotta 30litre
All Size Brush 8each
Water Tanker 2tanks (Hope BBMP arranges)
Footpath slabs 23 (Urgent 15)
