Bangalore's biggest Gaushala, Akhil Karnataka Prani Daya Sangh(R.), recognized by the Animal Welfare Board of India was established in 1981-82.

We provide shelter, food, and medical care to over 1100+ rescued, injured, and abandoned cattle. We also feed over 10,000 pigeons every single day.

The institute has been working towards the protection and prosperity of indigenous breeds of cattle for the last 40 years through generous donations of Donors and Patrons.

Lockdown imposed in Bangalore due to the second wave of Covid is creating a great challenge for visitors to donate and feed the cows.

We need your remote assistance to ensure no cow is starved through the Lockdown.

Utilization of funds:

Each cow requires about 20 kg of Fodder every day.

Daily Fodder requirement:
1180 x 20 = 23600 kgs/day
Cost per kg = Rs.4.5
Dailycost to feed all cows:
23600 x 4.5 = Rs. 1,06,200

Cost to feed cows for one month:
1,06,200 x 30 = Rs. 31,86,000
